• What are the check-in and check-out times?

  Check-in is from 12:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability - just let us know in advance.

• How do I book a room at GB Guest House?

  Send a booking request from the Book Now page with your dates and room choice, or call / WhatsApp us. We will confirm availability and the tariff with you directly.

• Do you have air-conditioned rooms?

  Yes. We have AC double rooms and an AC family room. Ask for an AC room when you book.

• Do the rooms have attached bathrooms and hot water?

  Yes. Every room has its own attached bathroom, and hot water is available.

• Do you have rooms for families?

  Yes. Our AC Family Room has a double bed plus a single bed and comfortably sleeps three.

• How do I reach Ghatsila?

  Ghatsila railway station is on the Howrah-Mumbai main line between Kharagpur and Tatanagar, with direct trains from Kolkata (Howrah). By road, Ghatsila is on NH-18, about an hour from Jamshedpur.

• What ID do I need at check-in?

  All guests must show a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence) at check-in.

• What is the best time to visit Ghatsila?

  October to March is the most pleasant season. The monsoon (July-September) is the best time to see Dharagiri Falls and the Subarnarekha in full flow.

• Which places can I visit near GB Guest House?

  Phuldungri Hill, Gourikunj (Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay's house), the Subarnarekha river, Burudih Lake, Dharagiri Falls, Galudih Barrage, Rankini Temple and Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary are all within easy reach.
