Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every booking and stay at GB Guest House, Ghatsila (“we”, “us”), oppo. St. Paul School, Nuagaon, Ghatsila, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand 832303, and to your use of this website. By sending a booking request or staying with us, you agree to them.

1. Booking requests

• A request sent through this website, by phone or on WhatsApp is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you by phone or WhatsApp and receive the advance payment.
• Tariffs shown on the website are indicative and may change with season and availability. The tariff we confirm to you at the time of booking is the one that applies.
• Room photos are of our actual rooms, but a specific room number is allotted subject to availability on arrival.

2. Payment

• An advance payment, as told to you at the time of confirmation, is payable by UPI or bank transfer to secure your booking. The balance is payable at check-in.
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR). Taxes, including GST where applicable, are charged as per law.
• We do not take card or online payments on this website. Please pay only to the account details we share with you directly from +91 911931 55826 or +91 74881 54378.

3. Cancellation and refunds

• The advance payment is non-refundable. It is not refunded if you cancel, shorten your stay or do not arrive (no-show).
• If we have to cancel a confirmed booking for reasons on our side, we will refund your advance in full.
• Requests to change your dates should be made as early as possible and are accepted at our discretion, subject to availability.

4. Check-in, check-out and identity

• Check-in is from 10:00 AM and check-out is by 08:30 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be charged.
• Every adult guest must show a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence) at check-in. We keep a copy, as required by local police for the guest register.
• Foreign nationals must show a valid passport and visa. As required by law, we report their stay to the authorities through Form C.
• We may refuse check-in, without a refund of the advance, if valid ID is not produced or the number of guests exceeds the room's occupancy.

5. During your stay

• Guests must follow our House Rules. We may ask a guest who seriously breaks them, or breaks the law, to leave without a refund.
• Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to rooms, furniture or fittings and will be charged the cost of repair or replacement.
• Please keep cash, jewellery and other valuables with you. We are not responsible for loss of belongings left unattended, except where caused by our negligence.

6. Liability

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, floods, power or water outages from the supply, strikes, or orders of the government. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

7. Use of this website

The text, photos and logo on this website belong to GB Guest House and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission. You must not send false booking requests or misuse the forms. How we handle the details you send us is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of East Singhbhum district, Jharkhand.

9. Changes and contact
